Common questions

How do I report a problem?

Email support@jumbletale.com with the game's name, your device and operating system (for example "iPhone 15, iOS 26"), the game version (in Preferences, under About) and what happened just before the problem. A screenshot helps a lot.

Why are there ads?

Ads keep the games free. The iPhone and Android apps show an occasional full-screen ad between rounds: never during a round, never on your first day, and never before your third round. There are no banners and no ads for hints. The web versions of our games have no ads.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

Where your local law gives you a choice, open Preferences and tap Privacy choices. On iPhone you can also go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, Settings › Google › Ads. Our Privacy Policy explains what the ads use.

My scores disappeared. Can you restore them?

Scores, progress and settings are stored only on your device, never on our servers, so we cannot restore them. Deleting the app, clearing your browser data or changing phones starts fresh.

How do I reset a game?

Delete and reinstall the app, or for the web version clear your browser's site data for jumbletale.com. This erases your scores and settings.

How do I change the language, level or mode?

Open Preferences from the game's home screen. Every game has four levels (Easy to Expert) and Timed or Goal mode, and most are available in nine languages.

FaceMaze can't see my face, or I don't want to use the camera.

Allow camera access when asked, or turn it on later in your device or browser settings. Play facing a light, with your whole face in view, and use Recalibrate if the ball drifts. If you prefer not to use the camera, touch controls work too. The camera picture is processed on your device and is never stored or uploaded.

The web version won't start.

Our web games need a recent browser with WebGL 2 and WebAssembly: the latest Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Try closing other tabs, turning off "Lockdown Mode" or strict content blockers for jumbletale.com, or using the iPhone or Android app instead.

I found a word that shouldn't be in a word game.

Thank you. Email support@jumbletale.com with the word, the game and the language, and we will review it for the next update.

Can I turn off sound, vibration or animations?

Yes. Preferences has switches for sound, vibration and reduced motion, plus light, dark or system appearance.

Do you collect my personal information?

We have no accounts and no analytics, and we do not collect personal information ourselves. Ads in the mobile apps are served by Google. Read the full Privacy Policy for the details.
